About the Lecture

Cindrebay School of Design, in proud collaboration with the Asian School of Architecture & Design Innovation (ASADI), is delighted to announce a special event to honor and welcome Mr. Hari Nair, a distinguished member of the global design community. A visionary whose roots trace back to Kerala, Mr. Nair is a celebrated design entrepreneur and educator, presently based in the United States.

This exclusive event, set to take place on the 22nd of December 2023, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the ASADI campus in Vyttila, Kochi, offers a rare opportunity for students and faculty to engage with Mr. Nair. As we gather to celebrate his remarkable contributions to the design world, both as a practitioner and an academic, Mr. Nair will share insights from his international journey in the field of design.

Titled "Design Across Borders: Tales from a Global Design Journey," Mr. Nair's address promises to be an enriching narrative woven with experiences, stories, and anecdotes accumulated over years of interaction with diverse cultures, people, and design philosophies. About Prof. Hari Nair

Professor Hari Nair is a distinguished design leader and educator with global recognition. He currently serves as the CEO of Design for Winning LLC, a design strategy consultancy based in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, he holds a professorship in Industrial Design and Design Management at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). With expertise in design strategy, user experience, and brand development, he has extensive experience in corporate sectors. Notably, he was the Chief Design Officer for Whirlpool China, driving transformation through global design initiatives. His work blends thought leadership in future-forward, human-centered projects with robust product development, contributing to significant market successes. In academia, he has been instrumental in integrating digital technology into design education and now focuses on curricular strategies, sustainability, and social change through design at SCAD.
